Our story

When I walk into a home, I’m interested in how it works for the people living there. How they move through it, which rooms they naturally gravitate toward, and where things seem to get in the way. Then I start noticing the details behind that, like an awkward layout, unused space, or a small change that could make the whole house work better.

I think some of that perspective came from my dad. He began his career in city planning before moving into real estate, and growing up, he was always pointing out things about houses that I might not have noticed otherwise. The structure, the layout, what could be changed, and what could not. Over time, I started looking at homes with that same curiosity.

I have also always loved being creative, especially when it comes to solving problems. My background in business strengthened that part of how I think. It taught me to look at the bigger picture, work through constraints, weigh different options, and find solutions that are both thoughtful and practical.

Studio Gobi grew out of that approach. We design homes with equal attention to how they look, how they function, and how they support the people living in them. Every layout, material, and detail is considered as part of the bigger picture, so the finished space feels intentional, comfortable, and truly suited to the way you live.
